Thanks to Sam Harper for posting this timelapse video of the fog moving along the St. Croix last night. He writes, “23 years and the view from the backyard still hasn’t gotten old.”
The fog is a factor of the weirdly warm weather we’ve had in the St. Croix Valley this “winter.” Minnesota Public Radio reports that February temperatures are running 10.2 degrees warmer than average at MSP Airport. All together, December, January, and February (“meteorological winter”) has been about 4 degrees warmer than average.
